Travel to Hawaii- Day 1

I started this topic on Jan 15 and have not been able to complete it till today. Can’t believe how soon January is over. It just felt like we celebrated the new year and one month is already over and 11 more months in this year to go.

January has been a hectic month. After my son left back to his college after a nice long winter vacation. I have been running behind seeing different doctors. During last years travel, I hurt my neck pretty badly , the doctor call this problem as Disk propulsion on my Neck Spine. Have been going through a lot of Physical therapy  and have  intense pain radiating from my neck and going all over my upper back and into my head, shoulder and even in the front of my shoulder and down both my arms. Photography has kept me motivated to get my health back to normal.

Finally, I saw a pain management specialists and I  got an injection on my neck spine. Hoping things would  get much better after the injection. I have been wanting to write about my trip to Hawaii. I will start the story from this post.

Last years winter vacation as a family we decided to spend time for the very first time in Hawaii.  The travel started by boarding a flight from Newark, NJ to Honolulu took us about 11 hours and 30 minutes by flight. We reached Honolulu Airport by evening around 4:30 pm, to realize there was a 5 hour time difference between East coast and Hawaii.

We checked in at Prince Waikiki hotel in Oahu. The view from this hotel onto the ocean was phenomenal. Since we landed in the evening, we planned to see little bit of Honolulu that night.So we walked around the place.

I would like to share some of the picture I took from my Room view.

This picture I took from my room, it was amazing to watch sunset from the room window.

I had these pictures taken over 2 to 3 hour window and they were so amazing with different colors showing in each different shot, I took.

Same location I was able to take totally different color composition, view and scenery.

We stayed total 9 days in Hawaii, 3 nights and 4 days in Oahu and the rest in Big island. I took about 3000 pictures during this time period. After going through pictures, I decided to put together a website for my photography so I could share my pictures with all of you.
