Sweet Corn soup
Sweet Corn on the cob-4
Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
Jeera – 1 teaspoon
Place the corn in Microwave and cook it for about 6 to 7 minutes. Allow the corn to cool by leaving it on your cutting board for sometime.
Place the Corn cob in a bowl and run the knife through the corn until all the corn kernels are lose from the cob.
Once all the corn kernel are removed from the cob. You have to blend them by adding water.
Leave a little bit of corn in the utensil and then add almost all of the corn in a blender with water to grind them into a purée. Add water when you need and not make it too watery.
Pour the blended puree in a strainer and make sure you strain them by steering them with a spoon until you get some pulp left over without liquid and add the pulp to your blender with more water and repeat the process until there is no more liquid to be taken out. Discard the solid portion of the pulp .
Take some Black pepper and Jeera in a dry blender and blend them. You will add about 1 1/2 teaspoon of this powder into the corn soup which you will boil on the stove. Add salt and fresh chopped cilantro to finish the soup. If you feel the soup is not very thick then you could add 1 teaspoon of corn flour with some water mixed in a separate bowel and pour it into the boiling mixture and allow the soup to boil for sometime.
Severe hot and enjoy the soup.
