Onion Tomato chutney
Ingredients
Onion – 1 medium or large
Tomatoes – 3 to 4 medium or a few large
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green chilies – 4
Ginger – 2 small pieces
Red dry chilly –
Mint – 1 small bunch
Salt
Oil
Step-1
This is a very quick recipe of onion tomato chutney. It can be used as a side dish for Dosa or chappathi. Take the following ingredient and prep them by cleaning or peeling the skin.
Step-2
Chop the above ingredients into cubes, once you sauté them you are going to grind. So don’t spend you time chopping them small.
Step-3
Take a medium sauce Pan and add some oil , once oil is warm add all the chopped ingredients from step 2 into the pan and sauté until soft and raw smell has disappeared. Allow the ingredients to cool by transferring to a different container.
Step-4
Once the above ingredients are cooled and added to blender, add salt to taste and blend them into a smooth paste.
“CAUTION” Don’t add any water while grinding the above ingredients, because tomato and onions will give out enough liquid to get them into a paste. If you add more water it will become too liquid.
