When I see a Gate, what is the first think which comes to mind is Entry and Exit.
When I saw the prompt I was wondering what Gate should I write about which I have visited and then Gateway of India came to my mind.
Gateway of India in Mumbai
I visited Gateway of India during my visit to Mumbai in 2013. When I see this monument I realize the amount of history this place would have seen.
This arch monument was built in the 20th century in Bombay India. The monument was erected to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder on their visit in 1911.
It's a very important tourist destination in Mumbai. People come from all over to see a little bit of history.
